BBNaija 2019 Day 57

BBNaija 2019 Day 57 – At the end of the Nomination challenge, Team Legends are facing possible Eviction in the Big Brother Naija House.

The Pepper Dem Housemates in their new teams played their first Nomination challenge tonight. At the end of it, Esther, Frodd, Sir Dee, Venita, Tacha and Cindy are up for possible Eviction this week.

The Cotton Ball Challenge

Three representatives were selected by each team to partake in the challenge on behalf of other team members. For five minutes, each representative was to move as many cotton balls as possible from the cotton balls buckets to the plates on the floor. The team with the most cumulative cotton balls in their plates wins the Challenge.

Think this is an easy Task? Wait for it…The representatives are competing blindfolded and oh, they were to use tablespoons to move the balls into the plates.

An Empty Plate

Venita, Omashola and Esther represented team Legends while Seyi, Elozonam and Cindy stood in for Enigma team. At the sound of the buzzer, they dug in and began the battle to save their team from the Nomination list.

When it was three minutes and 22 seconds, the buzzer went off and it was time to see how they fared in the challenge. As they took off their blindfolds, a shocked Esther discovered she has been pouring the cotton balls on the floor! She wasn’t the only Housemates that noticed an error, Biggie also called Venita out for nudging the plate on the ground with her foot. According to Big Brother, that was a cheap trick and it was quite noticeable.

All this said and done, team Legends with the exception of Khafi are up for possible Eviction as they didn’t have enough cotton balls on their plate.

Veto Power Time

Ike, the Veto Power Holder for this week was called upon to perform the Save and Replace rite. Without wasting time, Ike Saved Omashola and Replaced him with Cindy. With the speed at which he made his decision, we wonder if he had thought of it prior to the challenge.

The outcome of the Nomination challenge has put Legends on edge, will this affect their performance in subsequent Tasks this week?

Cindy, Esther, Frodd, Sir Dee, Tacha and Venita are up for Eviction.

Hollywood actress, Felicity Huffman on Tuesday, October 15th began serving a two-week prison term for her role in a college admissions scam in which she paid a bribe to help her daughter gain admission to a prestigious university.

The “Desperate Housewives” star turned herself in at the low-security Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, about 35 miles (55 kilometers) east of San Francisco.

“Ms. Huffman is prepared to serve the term of imprisonment Judge (Indira) Talwani ordered as one part of the punishment she imposed for Ms. Huffman’s actions. She will begin serving the remainder of the sentence Judge Talwani imposed one year of supervised release, with conditions including 250 hours of community service when she is released” a representative for the 56-year-old actress said in a statement to AFP.

The Oscar nominee, who is married to actor William H. Macy, was the first of more than 30 parents sentenced in an elaborate and wide-ranging scam to help children of the elite secure places in top US colleges.

Huffman, who was also fined $30,000, pleaded guilty in May during a tearful court appearance to paying $15,000 to boost her daughter’s SAT college entrance exam score.
